This Cookie Policy explains how Kall It ("we", "our", or "us") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies when you visit our web application or platform. By using our service, you agree to the use of essential cookies necessary for the platform to operate securely.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile) by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently, enhance user experience, and provide reporting data to site operators.

2. How we use cookies

Kall It strictly limits its use of cookies to what is required to provide core authentication, maintain your workspace security, and remember interface choices. We categorize our cookies as follows:

Essential / Strictly Necessary Cookies

Required

These cookies are set by our authentication provider (Supabase) and are essential for core platform features such as user login verification, managing secure session tokens, handling account onboarding states, and routing permissions safely. Without these, you cannot log into your dashboard or translation workspace. These cookies last for the duration of your login session and are renewed automatically while you remain signed in; they are cleared when you log out or your session expires.

Payment Processing Cookies

Required

When you manage billing, our payment processor, Stripe, sets its own strictly necessary cookies (such as fraud prevention and secure checkout session cookies) to process payments safely. We do not receive or store your card details ourselves. See Stripe's own Cookie Policy for details of what they set.

Local Preference Storage

Optional

We use your browser's local storage (not a cookie sent to our servers) to remember a single preference: your light/dark/system display mode. This value never leaves your device and is not used to identify or track you. It persists until you clear your browser data or change the setting again.

3. What we don't use cookies for

We do not use cookies, local storage, or any other technology to track your device, browser, location, or behaviour for analytics, profiling, or advertising purposes. We do not use third-party advertising networks or invasive tracking scripts of any kind. The only parties that set cookies on this site are our authentication provider (Supabase) and, when you make a payment, our payment processor (Stripe) — both solely for the strictly necessary purposes described above.

4. Managing cookies

Because every cookie we and our processors set is strictly necessary for the platform to function (signing you in, or processing a payment you initiate), we don't show a cookie consent banner — there is nothing non-essential to opt in or out of. You can still control or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. If you delete or block these cookies, core features of Kall It — including remaining logged into your account and making payments — will stop working.
