Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Kall It, a real-time voice translation platform operated by Kall It Ltd ("we", "our", or "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and, where applicable, your business.
2. The service
Kall It provides real-time, AI-assisted voice translation across 90+ languages, designed for professional use (for example, by solicitors, police, immigration and visa services, and healthcare providers). Translations are generated using third-party AI services and, like any AI system, may occasionally be inaccurate or incomplete. Kall It is a communication aid and should not be relied upon as the sole record or interpretation of a legally, medically, or otherwise significant conversation.
3. Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to register a business account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for all activity carried out by staff you invite to your business account. New business accounts are reviewed and approved manually before full access is granted.
4. Your responsibility for the calls you make
You (and your business) are the data controller for the conversations you have with your own clients, patients, or members of the public through Kall It — we are a processor acting on your instructions. You are responsible for ensuring you have a proper legal basis and, where required, the informed consent of the other party before recording or translating a call, and for complying with any professional, regulatory, or confidentiality obligations that apply to your organisation (such as legal professional privilege or medical confidentiality). Kall It is a tool; how you use it within your profession remains your responsibility.
5. Pricing and billing
Kall It is billed per minute of translation used, at the rate shown in your dashboard at the time of use, rather than a flat hourly rate. New accounts receive a complimentary trial allowance. Once billing is enabled, payments are processed securely through Stripe; usage beyond your trial allowance will be charged to your registered payment method. We may change our pricing with reasonable notice to account owners.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Kall It for any unlawful purpose, to attempt to circumvent our security or account controls, to interfere with the service's operation, or to use it in a way that infringes the rights of others. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach this section.
7. Your data
Our Privacy Policy explains what data we collect and how it's used, including call audio and transcripts. It forms part of these Terms.
8. Intellectual property
The Kall It platform itself — its design, code, and branding — belongs to Kall It Ltd. The content of your calls (the audio, transcripts, and translations) remains yours. By using the service, you grant us a limited licence to process that content solely to deliver the translation service to you.
9. Service availability
Kall It is provided on an "as available" basis. We aim for high reliability but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free service, and we are not liable for outages or issues caused by third-party services we rely on (including our AI translation and hosting providers).
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kall It Ltd's total liability to you arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, special, or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
11. Termination
You may stop using Kall It and close your account at any time by contacting us. Any unused top-up balance on your account can be refunded following the end of the current billing month, less an administration fee of [REFUND ADMINISTRATION FEE]. We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or if required by law. On termination, your right to use the service ends immediately; data handling on closure is described in our Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above, and for material changes we'll make reasonable efforts to notify account owners directly. Continued use of the service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing law
